A power cut left thousands of Derbyshire homes, business and properties without electricity on Sunday morning. According to the supplier, the cut covered the DE55 area - thought predominantly to be in and around Alfreton. On Tuesday afternoon, a power cut meant that 1,600 properties were left without power in the Belper and Duffield area. It is not yet known what has caused the power cut.
